Cucumbers are a prolific and delicious summer crop.

Tender freshly picked cucumbers are so much nicer than the ones that have been refrigerated and transported from interstate.

As well as munching them off the vine, dipping them in dips and adding them to salads, a glut of cucumbers lends itself to tzatziki, raita and pickles.
